In order for laboratory data to be reproduced in real life, the active ingredient must be able to cross the skin barrier and arrive at required location
There are many products that works in the lab. However, the high anti-aging effect in the laboratory does not guarantee in real life. Because experiments in test tubes presuppose a situation where there is no skin barrier. After all, for the laboratory data to function properly in real life, the active ingredient must be able to reach beyond the skin barrier. However, the skin barrier is solid lamellar structure in which keratinocytes and lipids are stacked on top of each other and gives hard time for active ingredients to pass through. In fact, according to a paper called 500 Dalton’s Law, most active ingredients in cosmetics do not pass through the skin barrier.

17 years of research has brought an amazing result by the raw ingredients of IDENEL’s hero, the two patented technologies: Altum technology and Raphitox
The founder of IDENEL, Prof. Byung-ho Song has studied chemistry and biology for 30 years. His concentration of research has been the ability to deliver active ingredients to deeper through the skin barrier. Our perception of the existing ingredients or technologies is that there are limitations, for this reason we have begun developing new ingredients. We brought in fellow professors and dermatologists as advisors to verify the effectiveness and safety of the new material. The research journey began in a university’s lab in 2005, and that journey has brought an incredible result by the raw ingredients of IDENEL’s hero, the two patented technologies: Altum technology and Raphitox
We have developed a formulation that maximizes the strength of the new ingredients and a treatment method by collaborating with 30 years experienced aestheticians and formulators.
The pursuit of perfection did not stop with new ingredients. We have developed a formulation that maximizes the strength of new ingredients and a treatment method by collaborating with 30 years experienced aestheticians and formulators. Eventually, cosmetic meets aesthetic. The PEPTAXEL procedure was launched in 2021 for professional and homecare to maximize the potential of IDENEL’s latest technology, Altum technology.
Over the past 5 years, more than 3 billion won has been invested in development of new ingredients from IDENEL Bio Center. Creating an entirely new mechanism which did not exist, utilizing our own patented technology, Raphitox as vehicle to deliver the active ingredients to deeper. Altum technology’s core patented technology is that combines active ingredients with vehicle and allows it to release at desired location. Altum is designed to use enzymes found in specific parts of the skin as reductants, allowing effective ingredients to be released at specific location. We also encourage you to experience Altum Tech, the crystalline of advanced bio-chemical technologies
It is patented ingredient made from bone fragments of ocean sponges through seven special processes. In 2008, this technology was developed by our company for the first time in the world and commercialized in cosmetics. The technology is currently used by many dermatology, aesthetics, and cosmetic brands as the names of spicule, microneedle, fine needle, and herbal acupuncture cosmetics. We have the most experienced and knowledge as the first developer of the technology.
IDENEL contains patented new ingredients, Altum technology and Raphitox. They are not slightly modified existing technologies, but completely brand-new technologies that have not existed before.
Idenel was developed by a husband with Ph.D. in biochemistry and a wife, an aesthetician who majored in chemistry.
This type of founder configuration seeks to balance the science and technology, deduction and induction, research and training, efficacy and senses.
